Visitors and residents of Chester on the hunt for laughter can attend a completely original show taking place at one of the city’s comedy hotspots.
Famous for presenting high-quality bands and comics on stage, The Live Rooms is now welcoming a troupe of improvisational comedians in autumn.
A new act, Kibbles Improv aims to offer a laugh-out-loud experience in a fast-paced format. Able to create characters, punchlines and scenes on the spot, the troupe specialises in one-of-a-kind performances that ensure no two nights are ever alike. Taking their cues from audience suggestions, Kibbles converts everyday subjects into unpredictable twists, hilarious tales and memorable moments of comedy chaos.
The upcoming show in Chester is perfect for complete novices in improvised comedy, as well as people who are long-time fans of creativity and quick thinking. Those booking tickets for the entertainment can expect outrageous situations, crazy characters, witty wordplay and much more.
On the night, the Kibbles crew will be joined by their friends, fellow comics, Grass Dens Improv. They will deliver an entirely unscripted performance inspired by the audience’s memories of childhood.
The Evening of Comedy with Kibbles Improv and Friends will now run in Room L2 at The Live Rooms on Wednesday, September 16. Doors to the event will open at 7 pm, and the venue is based at 1 Station Road in Chester. The show is suitable for audiences aged 14 and above, and tickets for the evening are priced at £8 per person.
