Chester Eatery Launches Cost-Conscious Lunch Menu

Upstairs At The Grill (UATG), a Chester restaurant renowned for bringing a New York-style steakhouse experience to the northwest of England, is now unleashing an all-new lunchtime menu. Filled with sizzling options, the menu offers the same outstanding quality that the eatery is known for but at more affordable price points.

Since it opened in Chester in 2002, UATG has earned a reputation for excellence. Its impressive array of choice cuts of free-range beef is sourced locally from nearby North Wales, but also far further afield in the United States and Australia. Steaks are served up with theatrical presentation and are accompanied by cocktails and Californian wines.

The new edition of the restaurant’s lunch menu offers the same wow factor as its time-honoured A La Carte offering, but in a budget-friendly format. It featured the kitchen team’s personal take on classic plates accompanied by smart wine recommendations and popular sides. Served swiftly, the menu has been specifically designed for busy businesspeople and Chester tourists in need of a quick pitstop to refuel when seeing the sights.

Those lunching can enjoy UATG’s “Steak Frites” which includes aged six-ounce rump steak served with American Fried or the “Butcher’s Block Sandwich”, which features sourdough bread stuffed with 28 day dry-aged rump steak dry-aged for 28 days, roasted peppers, sweet onions, and a slice of Gouda. Other options include the “Fish of the Day”, “Charred Heritage Cauliflower”, for vegans and vegetarians, or the sumptuous “Caesar Salad”.

Upstairs At The Grill is located on Watergate Street in Chester.
