A friendly bar and grill-style restaurant in the heart of Chester, North Light is celebrated for its outstanding service providing freshly brewed coffee, luxurious cocktails, bottomless brunches and comfort food. Now, just in time for the sunny season, the relaxed restaurant has unveiled its latest menu packed with tempting treats to try from tantalising sharing plates to opulent cocktails.
Designed especially for the summer, the revamped menu is ideal for longer daylight hours with options for brunch and lunch and evening summer dining with drinks. Dishes are available suited to all appetites and diets including vegetarian and vegan options.
The social dining menu includes sharers like crispy aromatic duck, baked camembert and mezze platters, while small plates are served featuring exotic flavours from spicy Korean fried chicken and seasoned calamari to halloumi fries and Italian arancini.
For diners with heartier appetites there is also ginger soy salmon or vegetarian kofta, as well as favourites like steaks and cheeseburgers and freshly tossed salads like the classic Caesar or the chicken Asian noodle.
Alongside a full drinks menu with beer, wine and cider, summery signature cocktails are on offer like the Cherry Blossom Martini, Poppy and Pink Gin Punch, Disco Fizz and the Strawberry & Cucumber Breeze. Botanical twists on classic mixed drinks are also available, from daiquiris and Martinis to Mojitos and Margaritas.
Open from 10 am to 11 pm most days and extended hours with a DJ set from Thursday to Sunday, North Light is located at Unit 1, Coachworks Arcade on Northgate Street in Northgate Chester.
