Chester Hotel Presents Fundraising Conference

Renowned for providing impeccable accommodation in Chester, The Crowne Plaza has been selected to host an important event from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising North West this autumn.

September will see the 4-star IHG hotel hold the “North West Fundraising Conference 2025”, an assembly of fundraisers from across the region designed to celebrate, unite and share ideas while recognising and applauding charitable activities.

This year’s conference is focusing on three key areas – support and income generation, leadership and strategy, and wellbeing and personal development. A wide range of guest speakers are confirmed to attend, including Chartered Institute of Fundraising CEO Katie Docherty, Neuro Therapy Centre’s Jen Horan and Hayley Thomas of the Alder Hey Children’s Charity.

A special panel designed for new fundraisers will take place featuring representatives from Save the Family, Pets Foundation and McKenzie Jackson. Interactive sessions will also take place over the two-day event for fundraisers looking to get practical and there will be a special CV and interview skills clinic run by Charlie Mynard of Charity Horizons offering expert advice with bookable slots. For those looking to make new industry contacts, there will also be multiple networking opportunities during the conference.

The North West Fundraising Conference 2025 will take place at the Crowne Plaza Chester on Wednesday, September 17 and Thursday, September 18. The event begins at 9.30am and ends at 5pm on both days of the conference, and the hotel can be found on Trinity Street close to the Cathedral & Chester Business Park.
