Beer Festival Bound for Chester

This summer, the Spitting Feathers Brewery is continuing its time-honoured tradition and hosting an epic annual Beer Festival in July. As usual, the brewery in Waverton, Chester will present the event on the third Saturday of the month, offering a premium experience to all in attendance.

With two different sessions to choose from along with the option to camp, the festival offers an abundance of beer and cider as well entertainers and live music. More than 30 different beers and cider in kegs and casks will be served up onsite, temperature controlled using hand pumps run by the brewery’s volunteer staff.

Festivalgoers looking for top nosh to accompany their libations won’t be disappointed either. The festival is famed for roasting four hogs reared on farm brewery grains served up in fresh rolls from the Saltney sandwich shop, Wallis the Bakers. As well as pulled pork baps and world-class burgers from Chester Market’s Dave Joinson, there will be veggie burgers for the herbivores in attendance.

The music line up for this year’s edition of the festival will include, Billy Bobcat’s Moonshine Band, The Reads and Republic. In the past the brewery’s event has raised funds for both national and local causes. To date it has donated more than £25,000 to worthy causes like The Hospice of the Good Shepherd, Cancer Research UK The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, and the RNLI among many others.

The Spitting Feathers Beer Festival 2023 will now take place on Saturday, July 15 in Waverton, Chester.
