As part of their nine-date headline tour entitled “Downfall”, Stoke-on-Trent rock band Kira Mac will be playing live in Chester.

For a single night show, the group will be taking over the stage at The Live Rooms in Chester with support from the Jamie Porter Band and Mad Haven.

The new tour follows closely on the heels of multiple concert dates across the UK that the band performed to launch their first studio album, called “Chaos is Calling”. Commenting on the new tour, the band’s frontwoman Kira Mac (born Rhiannon Hill) said:

“We’re so excited to get back out on the road! It’s even bigger and better than last time! Playing our songs is the whole reason we do this, and getting to go back out on tour and have a party every night on stage is what we love the most!”

In 2022, the Steelhouse Festival in South Wales was so impressed by the band’s brand of Southern rock the organisers created a new performance slot specifically for them, while Planet Rock radio’s Mark Jeeves stated their performance was one of the highlights of the year.

Those attending the upcoming concert in Chester will get a chance to hear tracks from the band, which may include Mississippi Swinging, Dead Man Walking and Hit Me Again.

Kira Mac will be on stage at The Live Rooms on Wednesday, May 17. The venue is located at 1 Station Road in Chester and the gig will begin at 8 pm, with doors opening an hour earlier.
