Chester Celebrates the Sound of Nashville

A big voice in the city for entertainment, The Live Rooms is a prominent Chester venue. This spring, the nightspot known for its comedy nights and live bands is holding a special event dedicated to country music and classic records created in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dubbed “Country Fest”, the event has proved popular in the past and is back by demand for the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Guests of the city and residents alike with a thirst for country anthems can enjoy the event, which combines live musical performances with professional DJs. An accomplished band of musicians will play cover versions of classic country songs for the audience to dance and sing along to over two separate sets, with DJs staffing the decks in between and carrying the celebration into the late evening.

Country music lovers will get to hear songs from a wide selection of stars including veteran artists like Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton. However pop icons like Taylor Swift and Shania Twain will also feature on the playlist alongside moderns acts like the Zac Brown Band, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Morgan Wallen and Luke Bryan.

The Live Rooms will now present Country Fest on Friday, May 1. Doors to the celebration will open at 7 pm and the party will carry on until 11 pm. Admission is available to those aged 14 and over and costs £18 per person.

The event is taking place in room L1, and the venue is simple to spot at 1 Station Road in Chester.
