The Live Rooms in Chester has booked Blackmore’s Blood to play this autumn.
Performing together since 2016, the band has earned a reputation for providing a faithful tribute to the heavy rock genius, flair and flamboyance of Ritchie Blackmore.
Focusing on Blackmore’s years with legendary groups Rainbow and Deep Purple, the tribute act not only captures the authentic sound of the guitarist and songwriter, but also his skilled showmanship.
Enjoying critical acclaim from rock fans across the nation, Blackmore’s Blood was forged from accomplished musicians from across the country. After assembling, they combined their passion, determination and commitment to recreate the sound and appearance of both Deep Purple and Rainbow, with their vocalist able to recreate the singing style of the many frontmen who led them.
Born in Somerset, Ritchie Blackmore co-founded both famous rock bands and has been cited by Rolling Stone and Guitar World as one of the most influential and greatest guitarists in history.
Rock fans buying tickets will get to witness classic anthems performed live on stage, which may include “Smoke on the Water”, “Since You’ve Been Gone”, “Highway Star”, “Hush”, “All Night Long”, “Man on the Silver Mountain” and many more.
Blackmore’s Blood will take centre stage at The Live Rooms on Friday, September 4. The venue is sited on Station Road in Chester, and the show will get underway from 7 pm. Admission is offered at £20 per person, and the concert is suitable for audiences aged 14 and over.
