Based in the city centre, Chester Racecourse holds the title of the oldest racing venue in the world still in operation. As part of its impeccable summer race calendar, the Roodee will once again host the famous “Powells Jewellery Ladies Day”.
The elegant annual event is renowned for offering thrilling track action alongside the dizzying heights of fashion.
Three different experiences are open to attendees which include the “County Concourse” for £70 per person, “The Winning Post” for £50 per person, and “The Ibiza Trackside Party” priced at £179 per person, which includes brunch dining and themed entertainment.
The Best Dressed Competition is also returning for 2026 and will see those taking first, second and third place gifted coveted prizes at a special awards ceremony. However, a music highlight is also planned for the day. Former JLS member, singer-songwriter, actor, TV presenter and DJ Marvin Humes is booked as the headline act for the event, and will take over the stage after the final race comes to a thundering conclusion. Revellers staying to enjoy the set can dance the evening away to golden-hour energy and summertime vibes with the perfect party playlist performed live on stage.
Powells Jewellery Ladies Day will now be held at Chester Racecourse on Saturday, August 22. The gates to the event will open at noon and the racing venue can be found on New Crane Street in Chester. The first race will run at 2.05 pm, with the last at 5.35 pm.
