American music legends, Electric Six are bringing their genre-bending rock music to The Live Rooms in Chester.
Performing at the much-loved venue for a single-night summertime show, the band will bring its unique blend of disco, new wave, punk and garage rock to the stage.
The upcoming performance in Chester is part of the Detroit six-piece’s latest tour of the UK, which will see them play intimate shows at selected venues in major cities across the country. The latest Electric Six line-up features singer and songwriter Dick Valentine (The only constant band member), Johnny Na$hinal on guitar, Tait Nucleus? on keys, Herb S. Flavourings on rhythm guitar, Mr Poison on bass and Dr Jay on drums.
Since forming in 1966, the prolific band have released a total of 23 albums. They first earned critical success in 2003 with the single “Danger! High Voltage”. The track featured a secret second singer who was later revealed as Jack White of celebrated Detroit duo, The White Stripes. The band’s most recent release was the 2023 studio album “Turquoise”.
Electric Six will now perform in concert at The Live Rooms on Thursday, June 25. Doors to the gig will open at 7 pm, and the venue is situated at 1 Station Road in Chester. The show is suitable for audiences aged 14 and up, and tickets are now on sale priced at £21.50 per person.
On the night, Electric Six will have strong support with Enjoyable Listens as the opening act.
