Known for its endless conservation efforts and incredible creatures, Chester Zoo is also a luxury location for weddings with two dedicated venues. This spring, the attraction is hosting an event called the “Wedding Showcase” that lets couples tying the knot explore all it has to offer as an unforgettable location to say their vows.
After registering to attend, guests arriving can enjoy a welcome glass of bubbles to toast their upcoming union. Throughout the course of the evening, they can nibble on a selection of canapés while exploring the zoo’s wedding venues, both elegantly dressed for the occasion.
There will be a carefully curated collection of the most trusted wedding suppliers in attendance to share their experience and help bring dreams to life. Live wedding entertainers will also perform, giving couples fresh inspiration for the music playing on their special day.
The Square is the zoo’s showpiece venue. Part of the Grade II-listed stable block, it stands at the very centre of the zoo’s gardens. Many of its historical features have been perfectly preserved to ensure the building retains its rich sense of history. The second venue is The Oakfield, which has been sympathetically restored and features garden views and detailed wood panelling.
Chester Zoo’s Wedding Showcase will be held at the Lodge on Tuesday, April 28. The venue is located at Chester Zoo and is accessible via Caughall Road in Upton, Chester.
Doors will open at 5.30 pm and final entry is at 8 pm, with the event ending at 8.30 pm. Free parking is available for all attending.
