Visitor favourite and river tour expert, ChesterBoat, has declared it’s offering a special way to celebrate on the water for Mother’s Day 2025.
The upcoming activity will let families spoil mum with a cruise on the River Dee while enjoying a tasty afternoon tea.
A natural highlight of Cheshire, the Dee boasts beautiful tree-lined banks in spring, making it the perfect backdrop for a Mother’s Day to remember. The two-hour long cruise is a round trip, and afternoon tea comes served in easy to enjoy individual boxes. The takeaway cuisine includes fresh sandwiches and a sausage roll, but also cakes and a scone with jam and cream. Served in proper crockery, passengers can also appreciate refillable coffee and tea.
All adults on the cruise will get a glass of sparkling wine with a soft drink for children. Mums taking the tour will each be given a special chocolatey treat. There is also a well-stocked bar on board, so passengers can purchase further refreshment if they wish.
The ChesterBoat Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea cruise will set sail from the Groves in Chester on Sunday, March 30. The boat will cast off at 3 pm and booking is required to take part. Adult tickets are priced at £32.00 per person, while children under the age of 18 can get on board for just £18. While young children who don’t require catering can travel for free, they still need to be booked in.
ChesterBoat tickets cost less when they are bought online.
