Famed for its gastropub food and clever cocktails infused with botanicals, The Botanist Chester is a bar, restaurant and late-night music venue.
The friendly venue also hosts original events including a Wednesday night special called “Botanist Bingo”. An upcoming edition is set to take place on December 18 and lovers of music, quizzes and cocktails can have all their appetites sated in a single evening. The reimagined game of bingo invites visitors and residents in Chester to book a spot online or walk in on the night for an arrival cocktail.
After collecting a bingo card from the Botanist Bingo host (one of the venue’s friendly team), players can browse the track titles and the names of artists listed. The bar and restaurant’s resident musician will be playing live and those taking part must listen closely and cross artists or songs of their card as they hear them.
Players who are first to get a full house, two lines or a single line can shout out “BINGO!” and take possession of their prize, which The Botanist promises will be tasty. Many guests taking part book a table in advance so they can dine from the restaurant’s exciting menu before Botanist Bing begins.
The musical bingo night will be held at The Botanist on December 18. The bar and restaurant is situated on St Werburgh Street in Chester, and the session will start at 8 pm and end at 9.30 pm. Botanist Bingo is a free-to-attend event.
