While it’s celebrated for serving over 50 flavours of delicious frozen desserts, Chester’s Ice Cream Farm also offers exciting interactive experiences.
From imaginatively titled play areas like Honeycomb Canyon to indoor discos and arcades, there’s no shortage of opportunities for fun at the farm.
An installation of Escape Rooms will end its run at the farm soon, but fortunately there’s still one more month for families to enjoy it. There are three different scenarios to select from, and each has a different theme, giving families 10 minutes to solve puzzles and escape.
Pirate Plunder finds players sneaking aboard the ship of buccaneer Captain Blackin to recover their stolen gold. However, the ship is sinking, and the team must work together to reclaim the treasure, cracking clues and solving tricky puzzles set by the pirate captain.
Sweet Success welcomes families to the launch event of a brand-new sweet shop. As part of the grand opening celebrations, players are invited to participate in a contest involving solving a series of sweet-related puzzles to reveal the hidden recipe of the shop’s latest treat on the menu.
Prison Break takes players on an exhilarating family adventure. Together, they must outsmart guards and work out cunning puzzles to get free within the time limit. This escape room has no loud noises or scares, making it suitable for sensitive family members to enjoy.
Prison Escape, Pirate Plunder and Sweet Success are open until April 30, and The Ice Cream Farm is based at Tattenhall, Chester.
