Romance Arriving at Racecourse Restaurant

Nestled in the oldest horse racing venue in the world, Chester Racecourse, the 1539 Restaurant is renowned for its charm and elegance. While it’s a sought-after venue at the site for celebrating winners, it’s also an ideal for special occasions.

This year, February will see 1539 provide a unique romantic dining experience. A Parisian-inspired event, the restaurant is offering a special premier Valentine’s Day offering, whether couples are planning an evening out or need the perfect meal for the most romantic event of the year in Chester.

To welcome diners in love, the venue’s able mixologists will make personalised cocktails. The prestigious restaurant has then planned a cleverly curated three-course dinner which includes opulent starters, unforgettable mains and sumptuous desserts in an exclusive menu made just for two. The resident sommeliers will also be on hand to guide guests on wines that pair perfectly with their dining choices.

There are no limits on time, allowing lovebirds to enjoy each other’s company and the experience at a leisurely pace. Creating the ideal mood, 1539’s management has booked a talented jazz band to play live to enhance the enchanted evening.

The 1539 Restaurant can be found at Chester Racecourse, where it enjoys outstanding panoramic views of the entire course and is accessible via Nun’s Road in Chester. The Parisian-inspired Valentine’s Day dining event will take place on Friday, February 14 and bookings can now be made online. Available tables are limited, so residents and visitors to Chester are encouraged to book early.
