There will be a range of fun family activities at the museum this Halloween. From Saturday, 26t October to Thursday, 1 November, you can enjoy Ghost Tours which might introduce you to no less than 6 ‘supernatural beings’ thought to be residing on the premises.

There’s also a Pumpkin Trail, Crafty Halloween Activities, Frighteningly Fun Boat Tours and Scary Snacks at the Waterside Cafe. It’s all happening from 10am to 4pm each day, with the boat trips departing at 11am, noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.

Visit Sick to Death

At the Sick to Death museum in Chester City Centre, you and the little ones will be exposed to the gory tales of diseases and doctors in medieval times. Educational and appalling in equal measure, the guides teach children about how the human body works, while detailing the excruciating way that ailments were dealt with in a bygone era.

The Sick To Death museum is situated in St Michael’s Church.
