Chester’s award-winning and record-breaking attraction, the Ice Cream Farm, recently announced it will be offer a programme of free activities just in time for the February half term.
The Ice Cream Farm events will launch with the first of a series of “Character Meet & Greets” this Saturday, February 18. From 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, kids visiting the farm can meet the beloved Pokémon known as Pikachu, and get their photo taken with him.
On Sunday, February 19, a special educational needs (SEN) session will be held between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. As a result, guests can enjoy reduced numbers at the farm, dryers and music turned on, and a selection of sensory toys ready to buy. Ear defenders are available on request. Farm visitors will also have the chance to stay all day if they wish.
Another meet-and-greet is happening on Thursday, February 23. Younger guests can enjoy another photo opportunity, this time with the Theatre Club’s LOL (Lil Outrageous Littles) Unicorn.
All of these events are free as part of the price of general admission (£2.50) to the attraction, and members in groups up to four can also join in free of charge. However, the Ice Cream farm is also offering a range of low-cost entertainment and treats. For just £1 each, visitors attending after 3:00 pm can enjoy the magical all-weather playground, while the PitStop will be serving up a roll and soup for just £3. Finally, those seeking to save their spending money for ice cream are invited to bring along their own picnic and have lunch next to the Marshmallow Mound.
