Racecourse Pub to Host Kids’ Craft Event for Halloween

Families seeking fun Halloween activities for kids while enjoying a day at the races won’t want to miss an upcoming occasion at Chester Racecourse this October.

Renowned for being a family-friendly venue, The White Horse at Chester Racecourse gastro pub has recently announced it will be holding a special Halloween event designed just for children. For two days, the pub will be playing host to a series of workshops dedicated to the spookiest event of the season.

Children taking part in the October event will get a chance to participate in an arts and crafts session like no other. A selection of spooky ceramic skulls will be available to decorate with craft gemstones and glitter, and a chance to create Halloween lanterns that can light the way when kids are trick-or-treating. There will also be the opportunity to make magical potions inspired by movies like the Harry Potter series. These are designed for drinking and have exotic names like Mermaid Magic and Unicorn Power.

Based at the centre of Chester Racecourse, The White Horse serves a wide selection of real ales and wines with generous portions of comfort food, so parents can enjoy a relaxing lunch and drinks while their little ones get crafty.

The White Horse Halloween workshops will take place on Monday, October 24 and Tuesday 25 October in different sessions between 12 pm to 5.30 pm. Children taking part are encouraged to come wearing their spookiest costume.
