Chester Bistro Offers End of the Month Roast

Those seeking a Sunday Lunch in Chester this January can look to its historic black and white rows at the end of the month.

Tucked upstairs, the Naughty Badger Bistro is a friendly venue known for its barista-style coffees and tasty plates. However, on the last Sunday on each month in 2025, it will also offer a sumptuous Sunday lunch that can cater for different dietary preferences.

Guests who follow the paw prints on the steps up to the bistro can enjoy views over the city centre while ticking into a hearty homemade meal. Diners can expect Yorkshire puddings crafted from scratch and a helping of classic roasties, crisp outside and fluffy within, as well as braised red cabbage and honey and rosemary carrots and parsnips.

As for roasted meats, there’s an abundance of options to choose from including plump roast chicken, juicy roast beef that’s pink in the middle or lamb shanks that melt in the mouth. Vegetarians and vegans are also taken care of, with a delicious cauliflower steak as a substitute.

No Sunday lunch is complete without gravy, and the Naughty Badger’s team are out to impress with a red wine infused sauce and plenty of fresh bread for mopping, so none goes to waste.

This month’s roast will take place from 12 pm on Sunday, January 26, and the Naughty Badger Bistro can be found at 7 Bridge Row East in Chester. Bookings are essential to secure a table.
