This autumn, the esteemed eatery is inviting visitors to Chester with a passion for ABBA to attend a special event. Dubbed “Mamma Mia! Afternoon Tea with Han & Fran”, the experience will feature the famous 2025 finalists from “Britain’s Got Talent” performing alongside a quintessentially English afternoon tea.
The North Wales duo wowed audiences and judges alike last year when they became the wildcard choice with an electric Mamma Mia! medley. Known for their impressive harmonies, humour and sequinned costumes, the ABBA-inspired act will play some of the Swedish pop quartet’s biggest hits. These may include “Dancing Queen”, “Take a Chance on Me”, “Does Your Mother Know” and “Thank You for the Music”, among many others.
The musical afternoon will start with a welcome glass of sparkling prosecco on arrival, followed by a tea featuring scones, sweet treats and savoury finger sandwiches. Everyone attending will also have the chance to win raffle prizes, with all proceeds donated directly to the registered charity KidsBank Chester.
The Mamma Mia! Afternoon Tea with Han & Fran will now take place at the Palm Court restaurant on Friday, 6 November. The event will get underway at midday, and the restaurant is inside the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa on Wrexham Road, just a 15-minute drive from Chester city centre.
Tickets for the tea are now available to book and are priced at £39.95 per person.
