The internationally acclaimed racing event known as the Boodles May Festival will be returning to Chester’s renowned racecourse next month, with three days of excitement for race fans.

The oldest active racecourse in the world, the Roodee will host the iconic event, which will launch with City Day. This also marks the first fixture of the racing season for 2023.

For another year, City Day will be sponsored by the celebrated jewellers, Boodles, marking another key milestone in the world-leading company’s relationship with the race world. The event organisers are inviting race fans to bring along their friends and family to enjoy the longer evenings at the Chester course and make new memories.

With an understanding that tickets for the Boodles May Festival historically sell out swiftly, booking tickets in advance is often advised for those keen to attend the event. New for 2023, the festival organisers are rewarding all customers who book early with better ticket prices. As a result, the quicker festival tickets are purchased, the more affordable they are.

Those attending can select to purchase tickets for the Dee Stand and Open Course for relaxed family outings or the Tattersalls Enclosure, which includes tiered standing room, paddock area access, and trackside views of the final furlong.

The Boodles May Festival will begin with City Day on Wednesday 10 May, Ladies Day on Thursday 11 May and run until Friday 12 May. The event will take place at Chester Racecourse, which can be found on New Crane Street in Chester.
