Chester Racecourse will soon host its annual Ladies Day 2024, a major meeting of its summer season. This year, the famed fixture has Chester’s Victorian antique expert Powells Jewellery in the role of title sponsor, and promises a day packed with racing action, fashion and music.
Ladies Day last year featured a live DJ set from Capital Breakfast presenter Jordan North, but this year, a multi-platinum artist has been booked to entertain. Ella Henderson, the three-time nominee for a Brit Award, will be belting out her biggest selling records for racegoers after the last event of the day is run.
A wide range of ticket types are available for Powells Jewellery Ladies Day, but regardless of which one guests purchase, all will get a chance to enjoy Henderson in concert. The English singer-songwriter rose to fame when she won the hearts of the nation performing on hit talent TV show The X Factor UK during its ninth season in 2012.
Two years later, she was signed to Syco Music and releasing her debut album “Chapter One”. The studio release spawned multiple Top 20 singles like “Yours” and “Glow” as well as the UK number one “Ghost”.
An iconic Chester event, Ladies Day sees racegoers plan attendance months in advance. The racecourse will be decked out with enchanting floral displays making a perfect backdrop for the latest fashions to shine, while guests are awarded prizes at the “Best Dressed Competition”.
Ella Henderson will be live onstage after the races on Powells Jewellery Ladies Day 2024 at Chester Racecourse on Saturday, August 31.
