Chester Hospitality Association to Host People Awards

The Chester Hospitality Association recently announced its launch of the People Awards which are designed to recognise the efforts of hospitality personnel in Chester. The awards will encompass all manner of industry staff to ensure all aspects of hospitality are showcased.

Awards will be issued at a special ceremony over the summer. The event will highlight those who operate and support Chester venues, but also individuals and organisations who raise important funds for the sector’s official charity known as Hospitality Action.

The Liverpool edition of these hospitality awards was recently held, and early estimates indicate that the event raised over £25,000 for the good causes.

Chair for the Chester Hospitality Association, Steven Hesketh, recently commented:

“We are thrilled to be bringing these awards to Chester. Having seen their success in Liverpool we have been inspired and cannot wait to recognise and reward the incredible talent in this city.”

He added that hospitality can be a difficult trade as so much of the work performed is behind the scenes but that the awards would be a great way to recognise the hard work of all involved.

Nominations are now open but will close soon on April 28. The awards will shine a light on individuals in the industry. Award entries from every type of business, from independent operators to well-known chains, are encouraged

The Chester Hospitality Association’s People Awards ceremony will take place at Chester Racecourse on July 6.
