Chester Racecourse has announced details of its renowned returning event Ladies Day, which will take place
in September. While a racing fixture which requires little introduction, Chester takes pride in presenting the famed event in its own special way,
As a result, racecourse heads have confirmed that for the 2023 edition of Ladies Day, a VIP guest will be welcomed. Jordan North, a Radio 1 DJ, will be performing a set specially designed for the event, helping to ensure a party atmosphere of the major racing day long after every jockey has crossed the finish line.
The DJ’s appearance won’t be the only activity taking place at the Roodee, however. The time-honoured tradition of the “Best Dressed Competition” will once more take place, showcasing the leading styles at the races with plenty of prizes waiting to be awarded.
Chester Racecourse’s city location makes the Ladies Day Fixture an ideal excuse for a relaxing and entertaining weekend away. Many racegoers head into the city centre after the event to sample fare from Chester’s countless restaurants and bars, renowned for their quality and unique personality.
A nationally famous event, Ladies Day has been known to see some enclosures sell out early, so those wishing to attend are urged to book quickly to sidestep disappointment. As a bonus, the racecourse is offering better prices for early bird buyers.
The Ladies Day Fixture will take place on September 2 at Chester Racecourse on New Crane Street. The event will start at 11.30 am.
