Chester has long been synonymous with fine foods and beverages, and at Chester.com, we’re proud to share this fact.
A hotspot for diners from near and far, the city and its surrounding villages are filled with notable restaurants and public houses, and each year it plays an integral role in the Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Festival.
While you’ll find all meals of the day available in Chester from breakfast through to dinner, brunch in the city is a firm favourite for many.
Rural pubs like The Hare and the Chester Fields serve the meal between breakfast and lunch beyond the walls, but well-appointed eateries within, like The Henry Potts and The Botanist, can also be counted on.
In recent years, an increasingly popular option is the bottomless brunch, and here we’ll investigate this social activity further, as well as highlighting the best places in Chester you can enjoy it.
What is bottomless brunch?
A bottomless brunch is a unique dining experience usually involving a set food menu and unlimited alcohol.
It’s typically served from late morning to early afternoon, and often lasts for about two hours. Held as celebrations, social or even network events, bottomless brunches are versatile occasions and usually have a set price per person.
Bottomless brunches often feature a signature drink offer, with popular options including prosecco, mimosas and cocktails, but beer and spirits can sometimes feature too.
Food included on bottomless brunch menus can also vary greatly between venues. While breakfast dishes are a popular feature, options are often dictated by the type of cuisine served on site, with small tapas-style plates common.
