Offering citizens and visitors to Chester far more than just a place to dine, acclaimed eatery Urbano32 is not only a pizza restaurant and bar, but a social meeting place for many.
Now, the Chester venue will be welcoming fans of food and wine to attend a specially designed tasting event within its cosy rustic and industrial interior.
As part of an ongoing initiative from Urbano32, the restaurant will be holding a tasting session that perfectly pairs a hand-picked selection of wines with different dishes from a specific country. For the November tasting session, wines from different regions of Spain will be presented for tasting, alongside food featuring authentic Spanish flavours. It is designed for all to attend, from wine aficionados to absolute beginners.
The evening event at the pizzeria is hosted by Boutinot Wines and will begin with an arrival drink followed by the chance to try four unique wines. Each tipple will be accompanied by a cleverly paired set menu that features the kitchen team at Urbano32’s original take on traditional Spanish cuisine. The restaurant prides itself on using only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients, and favours local and seasonal produce in the food it offers.
The Spanish Wine Tasting event will take place at Urbano32, located at 32 Bridge Street in Chester, on Wednesday, November 16. The experience costs £30 per person to attend will begin at 7 pm. Full payment is required upon booking to secure a place at the event.
