Sunflowers in The Pop-up Gallery in Support of The Ukraine People
Susan Farrington, a local Chester Artist and Oil Painting Teacher is asking Chester’s amazing artists to paint a sunflower painting to sell in support of Ukraine. Susan’s paintings will be displayed in the pop-up art gallery on Northgate Street, adjacent to Boots the Chemist near the Town Hall. Other local artists will be selling their paintings in other locations to be confirmed.
Susan said “Sunflowers represent hope and peace so proceeds from Sunflower paintings will be sent to “Save the Children” in Ukraine. This way the purchaser can enjoy a beautiful painting and the innocents of war benefit too.”
The Chester Art Centre holds regular fine art exhibitions, art classes and has an on site gift shop, art cafe and framing and professional printing services are also available.
All donations will be gratefully received for this worthy cause whether or not you wish to purchase a painting.
