Chester Racecourse Launches Hospitality Hub

Chester’s venerable Roodee, the oldest active racecourse in the world recently introduced a brand-new hospitality option. Dubbed simply “The Clubhouse”, the new offering is situated in the Festival Village and can provide luxury dining for parties of 160 guests or less.

The Clubhouse has been finished and fitted to impeccable standards. For interior design, the building boasts a fine balance between Art Deco and rustic charm. Bridgman, an award-winning UK company focused on luxury furniture and accessories, was drafted to furnish the new function facility. Its brief was to invite the outside within so that guests can dine and relax while socialising in sumptuous comfort.

Offering an immersive culinary experience, the venue also offers diners views of live cooking stations so they can enjoy watching their dishes being skilfully created. The exclusive menu offers a wide range of delectable options including fresh seafood, British delicatessen favourites, Teppanyaki grill and mini desserts. Inclusive drinks and snacks are also incorporated into hire packages.

Commercial Director for Chester Racecourse, Kate Dawson, commented:

“We know that our guests will be on to a winner with The Clubhouse. The introduction of this new hospitality concept builds on popular trends in the sector, which highlight a demand for casual yet premium dining experiences.

Race going parties at The Clubhouse will also be gifted a copy of “Inside Scoop”. This helpful guide features the history of Chester Racecourse and includes expert tips and hints on how guests can optimise their race day experience.
