A brand-new attraction is now bookable in Chester that thrill seekers in the city may be interested in.
Called “Challenge Point Chester”, it’s an outrageous interactive gameshow that visitors alike can enjoy. Designed by the brains behind the city’s exciting escape room venue Breakout Chester, the activity sees teams of between two to six players compete in multiple mini games to rack up as many points as they can.
Intrepid teams will find themselves running a gauntlet of mental and physical challenges, from feats of skills to tough trivia questions, to score enough to advance to the last round known as “The Point”.
Challenge Point Chester has seven crazy games to compete in and each one lasts five minutes. The aim of the games is to claim as many points in the set time as possible. Completely unique, each mini game is designed to test player skills to the limit.
Super Market Beep is inspired by “Supermarket Sweep”, the hit game show and sends teams up and down the aisles to scan items on a shopping list to pick up points, while the Laser Maze is played in total darkness. Teams must avoid red lasers or return to the beginning and complete as many levels as they can in the five-minute game. Limitless is built as a brain buster and boasts a hundred numbered buttons where players must find the answers to crazy trivia questions to score.
Challenge Point Chester is based at 48 Bridge Street Row in Chester. The new city attraction follows the wildly successful Challenge Point Manchester, which launched in 2023.
