Chester’s quirky accommodator the Oddfellows hotel is presenting a promotion called “Lobster Friends Fridays” for city visitors and residents seeking shellfish treats.
Described as the most exciting lobster night in the city, the event offers fans of the fruit of the sea to dine while earning rewards.
The lobster menu has two meals featuring lobster, sides and sauces suitable for different appetites and is available for lunch and dinner.
The first option will cost £49.99 and serves up lobster and sides for one person. The meal features grilled lobster tail, French fries, macaroni and cheese and an Aioli dip with garlic butter sauce.
The second is a lobster sharing board designed for two, priced at £99. Diners receive a whole grilled lobster, two portions of fries, macaroni and cheese and a pickled garden salad, plus thermidor sauce, garlic butter sauce and aioli dip.
Diners can also join the Lobster Club and earn attractive rewards each time they eat on Lobster Friends Friday. For every five visits, club members enjoy a bottle of complimentary Champagne, and at 10 visits they receive a lobster sharer meal complete with sauce and side on the house.
Member’s club cards are kept safe at the hotel’s restaurant and stamped by staff on each Lobster Friday visit. Once a card is completed, members unlock a new card with further rewards.
Lobster Friends Friday runs at Oddfellows every Friday between12 pm and 8 pm, and the hotel is based at 20 Lower Bridge Street in Chester.
