Chester Attraction to Present Easter Egg Trail

Chester Zoo is an educational charity and a tireless conservationist working to protect endangered species, both in Britain and around the world.

Its 128 acres are home to over 27,000 animals, making it a first class attraction for those visiting Chester and the northeast of England.

To celebrate Easter this year, Chester Zoo has announced it will be holding a special experience.

Putting a new twist on the classic concept of an Easter egg trail, the conservationist is inviting visitors to try and find five giant eggs deployed throughout its zoological gardens.

Those who successfully complete the zoo’s challenge can receive their sweet treat reward free from the gift shop. They’ll also get a chance to see the zoo’s new snow leopards, who have an enclosure at the end of the trail.

The Easter egg trail will launch on March 23 and run until April 14, giving residents and travellers to Chester plenty of time to participate.

Admission to the giant Easter egg hunt is included with the price of standard zoo entry and to those who hold a zoo membership.

Additionally, from March 29 to April 14, the zoo’ team will be hiding a special golden egg on the trail with a prize inside. Whoever finds the egg will win, and the Chester Zoo website and social media channels will be posting handy hints to help hunters in pursuit of the prize.

Chester Zoo can be found in Upton-by-Chester, just 11 minutes beyond the city walls by car (3.3 miles) via Liverpool Road.
