The beating heart of music, art and cinema in Chester, Storyhouse will soon present a live concert highlighting the talents of the world’s most renowned guitar players. Dubbed “The Story of Guitar Heroes”, the show has been hailed as one of the UK’s best live concert experiences, earning critical acclaim both in Britain and beyond.

Fans of guitar music from Chester and those visiting the city this month will be able to enjoy an on-stage tribute to some of the most iconic and influential guitarists from the last five decades of popular music.

The upcoming performance at Storyhouse will feature gifted guitarists playing amidst a stage bathed in cutting-edge lighting and video projection. The mixed-media and live show will take audiences on a journey back in time to the 1950s when Rock & Roll was born and guide them through five years of inspirational and creative guitar players up to the heroes of the modern era.

Celebrated for its extremely versatile musicianship, The Story of Guitar Heroes faithfully recreates the original sounds of each legendary guitarist with impressive accuracy, and uses over 30 different authentic instruments.

Those attending the show can expect to hear classic tracks featuring guitarists Hank Marvin, Eric Clapton, Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Brian May, Mark Knopfler, Slash, and Eddie Van Halen, to name but a few.
