Popular Antiques and Art Fair Returns to Chester

The Chester Decorative Antiques & Art Fair will soon be making a welcome return to Chester Racecourse’s popular Grandstand Pavilion.

The popular event will be arriving just ahead of Valentine’s Day, presenting an ideal opportunity for those seeking to purchase an original gift for their one and only.

Event organiser Sue Ede has confirmed that the three-day fair will offer a diverse selection of potential presents with specialist dealers selling everything from antiques and traditional art to jewellery, interior design pieces and collector’s items.

There will be many regular dealers who will be returning for the weekend event from in and around the local area. These include Melody Antiques, the furniture specialist from Chester, which has been exhibiting at the racecourse event for over 25 years; Rowles Fine Art of Ludlow offering 19th and 20th century sculpture, oil paintings and watercolours; and Altrincham’s Church Street Antiques selling a multitude of designer interior pieces from sofas to mirrors.

Items are offered at a range of prices to suit all budgets with smaller collectibles sold for as little as £20 and works of art sometimes exceeding £50,000.

The fair also includes a dedicated restaurant offering those hunting for art and antiques the chance to enjoy a light lunch or some refreshment.

The Chester Decorative Antiques & Art Fair will be held at the Grandstand Pavilion at Chester Racecourse from Friday, February 10 until Sunday, February 12. The fair is organised by Cooper Events and will be open daily between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm with admission charged at £5 per person.
