Bolesworth Honours International Women’s Day

To celebrate International Women’s Day last week, the events team at Chester’s Bolesworth Castle announced a line-up of inspiring speakers for its all-new “Women in Business Day” happening at the Bolesworth International event taking place this summer.

Bolesworth is currently led by a female managing director, Nina Barbour, who is spearheading change at the estate. She has a firm vision and aims to continue to construct a sustainable business based around the pillars of Events, Property and Leisure, and is presently putting together a dynamic five-year plan in preparation for Bolesworth Castle’s upcoming bicentenary in 2028.

A global celebration of women and their achievements, International Women’s Day recently took place on March 8. With her foresight and determination, Bolesworth’s managing director is a perfect example of what it is possible to accomplish.

Commenting on the new initiative, she said:

“We are delighted to be launching an exciting new business focused session at the Bolesworth International this year with three truly inspirational women based in the North West.”

The speaking panel at the Bolesworth International’s Women in Business Day, will feature three other successful career women – Louise Minchin, Victoria Price, and Collette Roche.

A respected journalist and presenter, Minchin is also a well-known podcaster and author, while Price is the Private Tax Leader at Ernst & Young covering Europe, India, the Middle East and Africa. Roche is now Chief Operating Officer for Manchester United Football Club and is responsible for managing every aspect of Old Trafford while leading operations, digital transformation, and infrastructure development.
