Chester Racecourse recently revealed that Liverpool John Lennon Airport will be its new partner this summer. The celebrated transport hub will be sponsoring the racecourse’s Family Fun Day taking place on the first Sunday in August this year.
Renamed for the occasion, the Liverpool John Lennon Airport Family Fun Day is planned as an action-packed event at the racecourse, offering an extensive selection of immersive and engaging activities designed especially for children.
The 2024 edition of the popular city event will welcome appearances from the beloved children’s animated TV show Bluey. Overenthusiastic canine Bluey will be at the racecourse with her sister Bingo for meet and greets and photo opportunities to post on Instagram. There will also be an inflatable play zone for little ones, and a fun fair that the entire family can enjoy.
Director of Aviation Development at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Paul Winfield, commented on the recent announcement:

The racecourse is located less than 30 miles away from our airport and many of our passengers regularly travel from Chester, Cheshire and across the Northwest.”

Liverpool John Lennon Airport Family Fun Day will now be at Chester Racecourse on Sunday, August 4. The venerable venue is located on New Crane Street in Chester. The event is completely free to attend for children under the age of 17.
