The Chester Fields is well-known in Cheshire as a versatile venue. A country pub nestled in rural Chester it’s also a restaurant and charming wedding venue.
It’s renowned for its fine selection of beers, wines and spirits, but also hearty plates of mouth-watering delights from fire-fresh steaks grilled to perfection to perfect pizzas served in the Oak Smoke Garden Room. The public house has won numerous awards for its use of local produce at the Taste of Cheshire event and took home the “Best Dining Pub of the Year” title at last year’s Cheshire Life Food and Drink Awards.
Annually, the pastoral pub puts on an epic fireworks display, which has a reputation for growing more extravagant and impressive every year. Tickets are sold over the bar inside the pub, but also online. However, those dining in the restaurant between 3 pm and 8 pm also enjoy a discount on the display.
For those not seeking a sit-down dinner, the Chester Fields also has food and drink options to appreciate outdoors watching the display. Served from pop-up stalls, fireworks fans can snack on hot dogs, hog roast and other delights while enjoying a winter warmer like a mulled wine or a hot chocolate.
