Finalists for Cheshire Food and Drink Awards Revealed

The Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Awards have returned this year and totted up a record-breaking number of public votes. The total count exceeded 59,000, and Taste Cheshire recently announced the shortlist of finalists for the 2023 event.

Taste Cheshire expressed its thanks to members of the public who added their vote to find champions in a wide range of sectors of the food and drinks industry, from hotels and pubs to local growers and chefs. Finalists included Storyhouse, The Chester Grosvenor, Vin Santo, The Henry Potts, Shrub, Chester Zoo, and The Forge.

The 2023 results have seen many renominations of last year’s victors, but also include an abundance of brand-new businesses based throughout Cheshire.

Chief Executive Office at Taste Cheshire, Briony Wilson commented:

“After what has been a really trying time for all of us over the last few years—our sector has been impacted harder than most—it is truly heartening to see how many people have gotten behind their favourite places around the area. Thank you for returning and supporting us and all the shortlisted and nominated establishments.”

The final stage of the Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Awards 2023 will soon take place with all nominated finalists visited by mystery diners, guests and tasters who are industry experts.

Before the final takes place, an awards Gala Dinner will be held on Wednesday, September 27 at Chester Racecourse. Tickets are available at £80 per person or at £750 for a table of 10.
