Just minutes away from the train station, The Moxy Hotel in Chester offer exemplary accommodation. However, it’s also celebrated for its commitment to providing alcohol-free nights out in the city.
Following on from its regular Club Soba events which offer club experiences with mocktails rather than cocktails, the hotel is playing host to an event called “The Dry January Challenge 2025 Tour” and is inviting visitors and residents of Chester to buy tickets while they last.
Perfectly timed to land around halfway through the first month of the year, the event aims to support those tackling 2025 without alcohol with much-needed motivation to achieve their personal goal. Those attending will be able to appreciate a club-style party atmosphere which starts with a complimentary drink (alcohol-free) on arrival.
The hotel has booked a celebrity DJ who will be spinning a selection of dance floor classics, but also live singers sourced from in and around the city. Arcade games will also be on-hand for some old-school fun. Proceeds from the event will be given to British registered charity and national campaigner Alcohol Change UK, to support its ongoing mission to help reduce alcohol harm and enhance the UK’s drinking culture.
The Dry January Challenge 2025 event will be at the Moxy Hotel on January 17. Tickets are priced at £15 per person, and the hotel can be found by the Shropshire Union Canal in central Chester. The event is set to begin at 7 pm and run until 10.30 pm.
