Chester Racecourse recently announced that it will be collaborating with Mediterranean cuisine expert, the Artezzan Restaurant & Bar. As part of an exciting race day event, the celebrated Chester restaurant will be taking over kitchen duties at the racecourse’s onsite pub, The White Horse.
An award-winning restaurant based on Pepper Street in the heart of the city, Artezzan will now bring its Mediterranean delights to the racecourse as part of an event called the Summer Music Weekend in July.
Catering Director for Chester Race Company, Rupert Worden, commented on the upcoming union:
“We’re excited to be working in collaboration with Artezzan on this race day takeover of The White Horse. Artezzan is renowned for taking guests on a journey through the Mediterranean and allowing them to indulge in the taste and flavours that make the cuisine so unique.”
Artezzan will be serving up dishes from the Med to complement a line-up of summery sounds at two events, the Ibiza Classics Evening and Soul Sunset Racing. The first event will see club anthems from the island performed by acclaimed classical musicians in a 10-piece orchestra, while the second will feature feel-good funk and soul music served up by Craig Charles on DJ duties.
Operations Director for Artezzan, Jim Dorrington, has also announced that the restaurant and bar’s chefs have created a tailored menu for the event infused with the tastes of summer.
The Chester Racecourse and Artezzan collaboration can be enjoyed at The White Horse on Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13.
