Getting into the true spirit of Christmas, award-winning Chester attraction The Ice Cream Farm is intent on giving something back to the wider community while offering even more value to its customers.
This year, the farm is working with the Chester Kids’ Bank Christmas gift appeal and the farm is registered as an official dropping-off point for presents. For another year running, The Ice Cream Farm’s team will also be bringing Santa and his helper Cookie the Elf to primary schools nearby. This free, wonderful Christmas experience for pupils involves dozens of “diddy tubs” of Cheshire ice cream made at the farm. However, larger tubs of ice cream will also be delivered to Lache Larder, a local food bank, as donations.
Discussing the season, Katie Lewis, the Ice Cream Farm’s MD commented:
“Christmas is traditionally a time for giving and we’ve tried to use the resources and space we have available to us to spread a little joy in our local community. That also means that, commercially, we’ve put value at the heart of our Christmas schedule for 2023.”
To this end, the farm is offering special winter offers which include free admission to Honeycomb Canyon with every standard entry ticket priced at just £2.50. The play area is among the farm’s most beloved features, and holds the Guinness Record for being the biggest water and sand play area in the whole of Europe. Access to the Daisy’s Garden outdoor playground is also included with each ticket.
